Free Christmas Stocking Patterns & DirectionsFree Pattern & Directions to Sew a Christmas Stocking

Thursday December 7, 2006
I love to use a small Christmas stocking to hold wrapped gifts. It extends the anticipation and hides things like a box that is obviously jewelry.

A small version of a Christmas stocking makes great gift wrap of a collection of small items, such as;

  • A collection of sewing notions and tools for someone who has just started enjoying sewing.... maybe even for someone who has been sewing for years and could use new sewing tools.
  • A collection of travel size beauty aids for someone who does a lot of traveling.
  • A collection of trial size liquor bottles for an adult who only drinks occasionally and doesn't know exactly what they like.
A copy machine is a great way to increase and decrease the size of patterns such as this free Christmas stocking. Two sizes of the pattern are included in the directions.
