I haven't managed to get past playing with needle felting possibilities. The process blends fibers to create felted fabric. The textures are limitless! Pictures are a great way to share the effects but I wish our monitors had "feel-a-vision".
Anna shared her beautiful pocketbook creation that was made from a special sweater that had developed holes and she shared her needle felting machine with her neighbor, Jane Holtfreter.
Jane has more will power than I do and has herself on a fabric shopping diet... but it sure didn't stop her creativeness! She sent me pictures to share in the Needle Felting Examples and Information Gallery. If I HAD to pick my favorite... and it would be a hard choice... it would be the piece she made using pieces from a red wool jumper as a base... it looks like flames!
