Dressing the Windows to Save Energy

Wednesday June 25, 2008
I'd much rather spend my money on fabric that pay the utility companies! I am resisting running the air conditioner this summer and using curtains and drapes to control the room temperature.
I have a vinyl backed fabric curtains that block out the sun during the hottest part of the day and simple sheers that let in the cool air but still keep our privacy intact.
If I can keep resisting turning on the the air conditioner, I should be able to save enough to buy more fabric for a change of curtains!
