Fall Leaves

Tuesday August 26, 2008
Fall Leaf and Acorn Applique As I sat out on the deck the other day, I spotted a squirrel busy collecting acorns. Once he spotted me he disappeared fast... as fast as the pretty colored fall leaves will disappear. They started changing colors early this year and they are going to disappear early if the Farmer's Almanac is correct.
I like to have a shirt that I can wear for everyday that fits the season and watching the squirrel gave me an idea for a fall shirt. I now have a shirt that will always remind me of the busy squirrel and a relaxing time sitting on the deck on a beautiful day. Enjoy the free pattern and step by step directions!
