Summer is a break from a "normal" school day pace. Vacations and the change in schedule can mean you aren't home at the sewing machine when you want to sew. I find that sewing makes me relax and too many days with no sewing can leave me agitated. I have bags that I keep hand sewing ready to hit the road or take with me at the pool side so I can still get my sewing fix and still be where I am needed.
