For years I've had itchy eyes at this time of year... and I know that it's allergies but I just rolled with the flow and endured... until the morning I woke up with my eyes burning and all crusted shut. Lucky me, I avoided pink eye my entire life and then thanks to rubbing my allergy eyes at the grocery store I picked up pink eye.... I now use those wipes when I pick up a shopping cart! Then I walk through the store seeing babies sitting up in the seat or worse yet.. climbing all over the cart. We all know it's dangerous to let the kids climb all over the cart but I bet if those parents thought about not only the falling risk but the raw chicken goop and worse that those carts have seen they would think twice about how and where the kids are in the shopping cart. I wish I were a "secret millionaire" I would stand in the store and hand out a grocery cart cover to every new parent. I can't help but wonder just how many diseases could be eradicated if shopping carts went though some kind of sterilization process between uses. In the mean time I'll be making a shopping cart cover for every baby shower!
