Warm weather seems to keep everyone very busy with gardens and outdoor activities. As the weather turns colder, many groups are taking advantage of neighbors having a little more free time. I love potluck lunches and dinners. They are so relaxed and such a great way for people to get together. A community group is hosting a pot luck to thank the volunteers who worked to refresh our town hall. It promises to be a fun way for the community to get together and celebrate without any political over tones... we need a breather form politics and a pot luck that focuses on a positive and thankful theme couldn't come at a better time. I'm making a pasta dish and bringing it to the event hot, in a Fabric Dish or Dish Insulator. Anything that helps keep food at safe temperatures is good in my world. If I can find some time, I need to make a couple extra dish insulators to use on Thanksgiving.
