Many holiday gifts come with some form of a basket... a basket that you know is too nice to just toss but at the same time, what are you going to do with it? I make basket liners and use those baskets around the house to collect "junk"... you know what I mean, loose change, Bobbie pins, hair ties... all those things that somehow just end up laying around.
I lined a basket for the living room, to hold remotes and the laser light for the cats but it seems to be a collect all for so much more! Since we cleaned up from the holidays, I discovered I still have it lined with Easter fabric... time for me to dig out a nice "non-holiday" fabric for a new basket liner!
