When I sit down to watch television, it's like an instant trigger to snack. Snacking is not a good way to lose weight so I needed to find something to change that impulse to snack. Hand sewing is stopping my snacking. I now keep a basket of hand sewing projects in the living room. Yo Yos are my favorite. They only take a few minutes and you end up with a pile of them in no time flat. I cut out a pile of circles and have them ready to sew. That way, I don't have to cut anything except thread in the living room.
