Like all the Guides at About.com, I'm a real person. You can email me at sewing@aboutguide.com.
I will do my very best to respond to all emailed questions. However due to the volume of email that I receive, and occasionally taking a day off, I have a few alternatives listed below that may get you a faster answer to your sewing questions.
F.A.Q.
- Help! I'm lost!
- The site has so much to offer, it's easy to get lost! Here are a few places to start. Start at the sewing homepage. Scan the entire page. I have highlighted the most commonly looked for material and there are links to information by category at the bottom of the homepage. There is also a search box so you can get directly to what you are looking for if you are in a hurry.
- I have never sewn before and want to know where to start.
- As a guide, although I would love to help every individual with private lessons, there just aren't enough hours in the day. To help we have many Sewing 101 - Learn How to Sew which will take you to all the beginner information you need to start sewing and enjoying a creative endeavor.
- I am interested in advertising on your site. Who do I contact?
- As a guide I try to bring the best there is on the net about sewing. I don't have answers for advertising questions. Advertizing Information is the best place for you to start.
- I would like to reprint your articles. What do I need to do?
- This one is easy. Visit Reprints, fill out the form, click submit and someone will be contacting you.
- My bulletin board (forum) password won't work. What should I do?
- As a guide I do not have access to the information you need. When you visit the forum, remember that your username and password are case sensitive. Follow the link to login and click the link for "forgot my password" if you need help. You can enter you email address to receive the information you need.
