Sewing & Quilting Images, Graphics & Stationary
Debbie Colgrove
I recently received 4 wonderful CDs of images from Scrap Smart. I now have Vintage Sewing Cards & Envelopes CD, Romance Vintage Collection, Victorian Fashions: 1860 Paris Collection and Easter Vintage Collection.
When my Mom, who loves quilting saw them, she was drooling for the Vintage Sewing Cards & Envelopes CD. She instantly stated visualizing quilt labels. I visualized the note cards that I could send with a theme that fit ME... sewing! I haven't shown them to my oldest daughter yet. She's totally addicted to scrapbooking and I know I'll have to guard the CDs with my life once she sees them.

I recently used the Vintage Sewing Cards & Envelopes CD to create my own name tags for a conference I attended.
You don't have to be a computer wiz or a graphic artist to use these CDs of images. Templates for bookmarks, cards & seals, CD Albums, Certificates, Envelopes, gift tags, Memo pad, name badges, photo albums, place cards, poster, quilt tags and recipe cards all come up in Microsoft Word. Using the features in Word, you can then add text and/or images to create what you want.
Browsing through the Quilt tags, I envision using them to add labels not only to quilts but homemade garments and gifts. In the past I have made labels Now I envision using color copier transfer paper in combination with all the sewing graphics on these CDs, to create labels.
I'll be using tag images from Scrap Smart Easter Vintage Collection CD to add tags to Fabric Bowl Baskets
My next investment will have to be one of the Christmas CDs. I think adding a homemade label and gift tags is the perfect way to have Christmas gifts have lasting memories.
You can see the entire line of products available at Scrap Smart: Product List. Individual images are available for downloading at very reasonable prices. Now you can create a card for any occasion print it out and add it to the gift you have sewn for someone special.
