Q What is a hand sewn slipstitch?
A A slipstitch is durable hand sewn stitch. It is perfect for hand sewing a hem or making stitches that don't show on the right side of a sewn item.
Q Where to use a slipstitch.
Aa slipstitch is commonly used to hand sew hems with little to no stitching showing on the right side of the garment. It is also used to tack facings so they stay put and stitching does not show on the right side of a garment.

QHow to sew bias tape?
A Single fold bioas tape may be sewn down in the form it came out of the package, using a straight stitch or a decorative stitch. To have stitching on just one edge of the single fold bias tape, place the correct side of the bias tape on the correct side of the fabric, open one edge of the tape and stitch in the fold line of the bias tape. Press and turn to have the correct side of the bias tape showing on the correct side of the fabric. IMAGE
To sew double sided bias tape, open the bias tape and place the correct side of the tape to the correct side of the fabric. open one edge of the bias tape to align the fold with the seam line. Stitch in the fold line of the bias tape. Press to the finished location of the bias tape and top stitch it in palce.
