Here's a great economical way to give your bed a simple but finished look. No zig zag or serging is needed because the constructions seams are enclosed in the flange of the pillow cover.

Materials needed:

  • Fabric - cut to the sizes shown in the chart for your pillow size. Due to the length of the cut pieces you will need to use the lengthwise grain to achieve the length of the cut piece. Buying 45 or 60 inch wide fabric to these lengths will allow for two flanged pillow shams.
  • Thread
  • A straight stitch sewing machine
  • An adjustable seam guide
