Here is a pie you can make and take with you, no matter how far you are traveling. It makes a wonderful gift for any home. Anytime your potpourri starts to lose it's fragrance, add a drop of fragrant oil to revitalize the pie.
Materials List
2/3 Yard of 45" unbleached muslin
9" disposable foil pie plate or an old pie plate
Pinking shears or pinking rotary cutter
Potpourri - approximately 3 1/2 Cups
Tulle or fine netting
Cinnamon stick or dried fruit to decorate the pie
Small piece of ribbon for decorating the pie.
Hot glue or tacky glue
Cutting Directions
Cut two strip of 45" wide muslin muslin 6" by the 45 " width
Cut 6 Strips 1" by 11" with pinking shears
Cut one 21" wide circle of tulle or netting - this can be a rough circle as it is used to make a pouch to hold the potpourri.
