For a Two Shawls with Pockets
- Cut the selvedges off of the fabric.
- Square the fabric ends.
- Divide the length of the fabric in half.
- Cut two pockets by dividing the half in half again, as shown in the diagram.
For a Single Shawl with Pockets
- Cut the selvedges off of the fabric.
- Square the fabric ends.
- Divide the length of the fabric in half.
- Cut the pockets out of one of the lengths of fabric. Consider making a hooded scarf with the remaining fabric.
