Dress up an Inexpensive Sweat Shirt

  • Measure the front of the sweat shirt between the neck band and the bottom ribbing band. Divide this measurement in half and add 2". Multiply by 2. This gives you the size of the square of cotton fabric you will need.
  • Cut out a square of the cotton fabric.
  • On the wrong side of the cotton fabric draw the stitching lines as indicated in the diagram.
