Pockets - two 9" by 7" pieces
  1. Stay stitch 1/4" from all edges.
  2. Press under using 1/4" stitch line as a guide. Fore a neater appearance use mitered corners as described in Cloth Napkins
  3. On top edge of pocket (a 7" edge. Press under 1 1/2" for pocket hem. Top stitch into place.
  4. Repeat for second pocket.

Attaching Pockets To Apron Body

  1. On apron body, measure 15" in from side edge and 6" up from hemmed edge.
  2. Top stitch pockets into place, stitching 1/4" or closer from pocket edge.
  3. For added strength at the top of the pockets: stitch 2 to 3 stitches along the top edge and pivot your stitches to stitch at an angle and return to your side row of stitches or bar tack at the top edges.
