- Pleat the raw ends of the ties so they are just a bit wider than the top stitched area of the waist area of the apron.
- Press the pleats in place for a few inches of the end of the tie.
- Turn the raw end in to the right side of the tie.
- Line the new folded edge up with the side hem of the body of the apron and the edges with the top stitched waist area.
- Sew a rectangle around the edges of the tie to attach the end of the tie to the end of the apron as shown in the photo.
- Repeat for the opposite end.
