- 2 fat quarters for contrasting top and bottom section
- Purchased purse handle or 1 fat quarter for straps
- 1 yard Pellon Fleece - Found on the bolt in the interfacing section of a fabric store-- You can use batting but you must quilt batting at specified (on label)intervals.
- 1 fat quarter for the lining
- Magnetic pocketbook closure
- Texture Magic (47" x 18" size)
- Optional: Purse handles or rings to attach self-fabric handles.
- For the Closing Tab -- Cut two of fabric, two of fleece and two of Texture Magic -- 3.5" by 8"
- The Center Fabric -- Cut two of fabric, two of fleece and two of Texture Magic-- 8" by 16" (Optional 2 of heavy sturdy interfacing, sewn on after the fabric is textured with Texture Magic)
- The Top of the Bag -- Cut four of fabric, four of fleece (optional four of heavy sturdy interfacing) -- 3" by 12"
- For the Bottom of the Bag-- cut two of fabric and two of fleece and two of heavy, sturdy interfacing - 5" by 12"
- For the Strap Tabs -- cut four 4" by 6" of the fabric, the fleece and Texture Magic
- For the straps -- Cut two 21" by 6" (2 of fabric, 2 of fleece and 2 of texture magic if you want textured handles.
- For the lining - cut two pieces 10 1/2" by 12 1/2"
- Optional: Zipped Lining Pocket Directions
- For Base of Pocketbook - Plexiglas, plastic canvas, light-weight board or similar material cut to 3 1/2" by 8"
