From the Lining Fabric
  • Using the placemat as a template, cut two circles of fabric.
  • On two circles of fabric, measure 10 1/2" from the bottom of a circle and draw a straight line across. Cut on this line.
  • Optional Pockets -- See the Pocket Lining Instructions and follow those instructions or alter the pocket size to meet your needs.
Marking The Placemats
  • Measure 10 1/2" from the bottom and apply a temporary mark on the placemat. This mark will be used to "roll" the top of the placemat to the outside of the bag in a later step. (Try not to have the ends of the weaving end up over top of each other on an edge as that can be difficult to sew through.)
