- Place the sewn lining section inside the placemat section, matching the side seams and with the lining pushed down to the bottom of the sewn together placemat section.
- Pin the lining to the placemat section into place, keeping it an even distance, smoothly fitting and evenly across the top of the lining.
- Top stitch the lining in place by sewing it to the placemats, sewing as close to the folded edge at the top of the lining.
- Find the center of top of the lining on each side of the purse lining.
- At each center mark, measure downward (into the lining section)about a 1/2"
