- Place the center of the zipper between two layers of piece D, right sides of the fabric together, on a 4 1/4" edge, aligning the edges of the fabric and the edge of the zipper tape.
- Stitch the zipper tape between the fabric, using a 1/4" seam.
- Press the fabric back to expose the zipper.
- Edge stitch the edge of the fabric at the edge near the zipper to prevent the fabric from being caught in the zipper.
- Adjust the length of the zipper leaving a 1/4" seam allowance on both ends of the zipper.
- Repeat Step 1,2,3 and 4 for the second side of the zipper.
- Align the edges of the fabric.
- Baste the edges of all four layers together to form a coin pouch.
