- Place the pull side of the zipper on the right side of the fabric, lining the edge of the zipper tape with the ends and edge of the fabric.
- Sew the zipper to the fabric following the 1/4" guide on the zipper tape (about the middle of the zipper tape).
- Apply a seam finish to the edge of fabric to prevent stray fibers from being caught in the zipper.
- Press the fabric under the zipper.
- Top stitch along the folded edge.
- Repeat for the second side of the zipper.
