Oval Pocketbook with Zipper Pockets on the Front and Back

• Using the two strips of fabric 2 1/4" wide by 14". Place a long edge, right side down on the right side of the zipper.
• Align the ends and the edges of the fabric and zipper.
• Sew the zipper to the fabric using a 1/4" seam allowance.
• Repeat for the second side of the zipper, using the second strip of fabric.
• Press the zipper flat so the seam allowance is under the zipper.
• Sew along the edge of the folded fabric to hold the seam allowance under the zipper on both sides of the zipper.
