- Fold each strap in half lengthwise, wrong sides together, and press the fold in place.
- Bring each edge in to the center fold with the wrong sides of the fabric together, enclosing the raw edges inside the fabric.
- Press well!
- Sew an even distance from each long edge of both straps.
- Measure 2" in from each end of the zipper section and pin an end of the strap in place. Pin the opposite end of the strap in the same location on the opposite end of the zipper section.
- Repeat placing the other strap on the other edge of the zipper section.
- Baste the ends of the straps in place.
