The Pocketbook Body - Side Seams
- Interface the sides if desired.
- Place right sides together, stitch the 12" edges.
Optional Drawstring Opening- Measure up 5" from the bottom of the side seam panels.
- Leave an opening 3/4" long and then continue the side seam to the end of the fabric.
- Press the seam open.
- Sew a rectangle around the opening in the seam to reinforce the opening.
- Press the seams open.
- Serge or zig zag the top raw edge.
