If you are making your own fringe, baste the two strips wrong sides together, at the top of the "fringe".
  • Baste the trim or fringe to the bottom of the bag by placing the body of the trim on the right side of the bottom of the body of the bag.
  • Place the right sides of the body of the bag together, matching the edges. Sew the bottom together using a 1/2" seam allowance.
  • Stitch again on the seam allowance, 1/8" from the 1/2" seam to reinforce the seam.
  • Apply a seam finish.
