The Bottom Line

I have to say, "I LOVE the SnapSetter™ Tool!". First try, every time! AND the prongs are long enough that setting the snaps in webbing was not a problem.
Pros
  • Worked first time - everytime! No holes from the snap not setting
Cons
  • Not available locally

Description

  • Prongs long enough to secure the straps on the Cell phone Case and Fabric Basket handle.
  • Snap Source snaps stay secure and come in a rainbow of colors.
  • The finished snaps leave a smooth inside surface on clothing.
  • Prongs do not bend before they should so they set correctly the first time.

Guide Review - Snap Setting Tool for Pronged Snaps

I remember making baby clothes for my oldest daughter.. 25 years ago now.. and trying to get snaps inserted where I wanted them. The prongs bent before I had the second part on and I removed it to start again... by the time I was done, there where so many holes in the fabric that the whole thing was a huge waste.

A few years ago when I was at the Sewing Expo in Puallyup I bought the The SnapSetter™ Tool and Snaps from The Snap Source, Inc. I watched the demonstration and convinced myself that someday I was going to get the courage to try inserting snaps again.

Once I got past my bad experiences and tried this new snap setting tool, I will never fear setting pronged snaps again! I LOVE the SnapSetter™ Tool!. First try, every time! AND the prongs are long enough that setting the snaps in webbing was not a problem. If you've had a similar experience, don't hesitate to try the SnapSetter™ Tool.
