The Outside Cover
- Lay the binder out flat on paper and trace the edges.
- Mark where the spine of the binder is on the outline.
- Add 1/4" to the outside of the traced outline.
- Cut one of this pattern piece.
- Trace the front of the outside binder cover, up to the spine markings.
- Add 1/2" to the spine edge
- Cut two of the inside flaps.
- Trace the inside flap pattern.
- Fold the height of the piece in half.
- Add 1" above the fold.
- Cut two of the pocket pieces.
