Details for Sewing the Spine Area Seam Allowance

  • Turn the cover right side out.
  • Press the entire cover, pressing the end of the spine part of the cover, in towards the inside of the cover.
  • Stitch the spine area ends to the outer cover, sewing the seam allowance to the outer cover from the hem of the flap to the other flap hem.
  • Open the binder so the rings are on the outside and insert the front and back of the binder into the cover.
