Allow a layer of paint to absorb and dry before giving it a second coat. Working on fabric will allow the fabric to absorb the paint and you may need to do a second and even third coat to achieve your desired results.
Tulip Fabric paint does not include any clean up instructions because it is designed to use like a pen on fabric. To prevent any damage to my good paint brushes I used a foam brush as a stencil brush with the Tulip paint. The paint did rinse out of the brush when I was finished.
Embellish! Try using Textile Markers to "spice up" your stencils.
