This Tote Bag Style Pocketbookwas machine embroidered and then needle felted with hearts of denim.
The cut out hearts were placed right side of the hearts to wrong side of the front panel and then felted from the wrong side.
I found it helped with placement to felt one denim heart, cut it out and then play with the placement. Using the reverse side of the cut out hearts, before placing them on the wrong side, gave me an "idea" of the placement also.
