- Lightly stuff the bag with the scraps. Keep them loose enough that the birds can easily pull out a scrap at a time.
- Use a length of ribbon, yard or heavy duty thread to close the bag. Weave the ribbon in and out from side to side of the opening.
- Leave a long enough tail on each end to hang the bag.
- Knot the ends together.
- Trim the ends beyond the knot and stuff them in the bag through the netting.
