The Side Seams

Sew the side seams and apply a seam finish.

• Fold the length of the fabric in half with the right sides together.

• Using a 1/2" seam allowance, sew both side seams.

• Apply a seam finish to the seams.

• Gather and Prepare the Materials

• Finish the Upper Raw Edge
• Finishing the Top of the Tote Bag
• Optional Squaring on the bottom of the bag
• Strap Placement
• Sew the Straps to the Tote bag
• Finish the bag.
