• Cut an 11" by 11" square of fabric. Note: If you are using a sheer overlay as pictured here, layer the fabrics and work them as one fabric. Baste the layers together if it makes it easier for you to work with.
  
• Stitch lace to the edge of one of the fabric squares, stitching 1/2" from the edge. (Place the lace to the inside of the square so that the edge will be in the seam allowance)
