- Optional: Embroider, embellish or appliqué the stocking front.
- Place the stocking wrong sides together and pin in place, leaving the top of the stocking open.
- Sew the 1/4” seam, leaving the top open. (See How to Sew a Seam for more information.)
- Apply a seam finish.
- Press and turn right sides out.
