- With wrong sides together, pin and seam the sides of the stocking top and the lining.
- Press and apply a seam finish.
- Turn the lining right side out. Place the lining inside the outer fabric, right sides together.
- Align the narrower edges, pin and sew in place.
- Apply a seam finish and press.
- Turn right sides out. Press the seamed edge.
- Align the outer fabric and lining edges. Baste upper edges together.
