Adult Clown Costumes by Debbie Colgrove

This set of costumes was made many years ago. I do remember that it was a commercial pattern and I found a great bargain on the fabrics. I made these before I had a serger and used rick rack on the edges of the neck ruffle. A serger was used in a later clown costume to add color to the edges of the neck ruffle. One of the great things about clown costumes is that you don't have to worry about any fitting issues and warm clothes can be worn under the costume if it's cold out.
