- Keeping the fold seams inside, match the tree branch sections on one branch edge.
- Sew using a 1/8" to 1/4" seam allowance or a zigzag stitch at the edges. (This will be on the outside of the costume.)
- Add another section, joining one side of branch edges with each section added until all four sections are joined into one long (lumpy) section.
- Join the two un-joined edges to close the tree.
