Halloween, school plays, church and group productions wouldn't be the same without costumes. Your sewing skill don't have to be perfect, fun and creativity rule when making a costume.

Halloween is a great time to introduce children to various professions available to them in their future. By using white fabric, you make sure your children will be seen on dark streets while trick or treating.

A classic white nurses uniform can be made with almost any white outfit. A classic blouse can be lengthened for a child's dress. Later you can add trim to the dress for it to be used everyday or shorten it for a white blouse. A white blouse and a simple white skirt is another option.

Top off the costume with white shoes. Old sneakers can be spray painted white, for a very economical solution.
