Free Pattern and Directions to Sew a Fabric Tissue Box Cover

These directions will make a fabric cover for standard tissue boxes. Due to manufacturers changing packaging, be sure to measure a recently purchased box of tissues before you begin and use the template for the tissues you have purchased.
A square box of tissues in these directions measures 4 1/2 square box by 5 1/2 tall.
A rectangle box of tissues in these directions measures 9 1/2" long by 4 3/4" wide by 3" high
A family size rectangle style box of these tissues in these directions measures 9 1/2" long by 4 3/4" wide by 4 1/2" high.
Materials Needed:

• box of tissues
• approximately 1/4 yard of 45" wide fabric for a square or rectangle box of tissues -- approximately 1/3yard of 45" wide fabric for a family size rectangle box of tissues
• thread
• scissors
• sewing machine
