A stethoscope cover makes a great thank you gift for your favorite doctor or nurse. Make them in bright and cheerful, or comical fabric to distract someone from the real need for a stethoscope.

Materials needed to sew a stethoscope cover:

  • Newspaper or pattern grid material, a yard stick and pencil to create the pattern.
  • 2/3 yard of 45" wide fabric (You'll have scraps to make matching scrunchies)
  • 1/4" wide elastic
  • thread
  • Scissors
  • Sewing machine
