Sew a Christmas Tree Skirt with a Ruffle Edge

• Fabric - 6 1/2 yards of 45" wide fabric (4 yards for the body of the skirt & 2 1/2 yards for the ruffle)
• Lace or trim if you don't want to make a ruffle
• Thread
• One package double fold bias tape if you do not have a serger.
• Optional -- A serger with a rolled hem plate to enclose the edge and finish the edges of the ruffle.
