Satin Stitch With & Without Stabilizer

Starting at the edge of the center circle, sew a satin stitch to the edges of the back, around the scalloped edges, sewing until you reach where you started.

Tips:

  • If the machine wants to "eat" the fabric, use a stabilizer or gift tissue under the fabric.
  • Wind multiple bobbins before beginning as the satin stitching uses up a lot of thread.
