Starting at the center circle, enclose the raw edges of the skirt with double fold bias tape.

Fold the tape back on itself at corners and turns to create mitered corners that turn with the edge of the fabric.

Tip:Sew with the narrower edge of the bias tape up to ensure catching the wider edge underneath the fabric.
