  • Re-press under the top raw edge 1/2".
  • Press under the amount you allowed for a header facing.
  • Straight stitch the pressed under raw edge. Back stitch the ends of the stitching.
  • Set a seam guide to guide your stitching and sew the upper line of stitching that will form the rod casing. Back stitch the ends of the stitching.
