  • Decide the width of your finished tiebacks. Double the width and add 1" for a seam allowance.
  • Decide the length of the desired tieback. Cut the the length and width of the tieback.
  • Fold the tieback in half lengthwise, with the right sides of the fabric together, matching the raw edges.
  • Sew a seam in the raw edge using a 1/2" seam allowance.
  • Turn the tube right side out and press with the seam along the center or bottom edge.
  • Turn in the ends enough to enclose the raw edges. Stitch the ends to hold the raw edges in.
  • Sew a plastic ring or thread chain to the end of the tieback to use to hold the tieback to the wall.
