• Pull the basting threads on the bottom of the side piece to gather the edge, evenly distributing the gathers, so that it fits the base.
• Sew the side to the bottom using a 1/2" seam allowance.
• Trim threads and seam allowance if needed.
• Apply a seam finish and press the seam toward the base piece.
