Why use Invisible Thread

Debbie Colgrove, Licensed to About.com
Invisible thread does take some getting used to but when joining multiple colors of yo-yos it can't be beat! Using a single color thread allows for any errors to dramatically stand out.

Tips for Using Invisible Thread

  • Use a quality brand.
  • Use un-aged invisible thread. If the invisible thread is yellowed or insists on staying in the shape of the spool, throw it out. It will increase your frustration to use it.
  • Use dark tone invisible thread for dark fabrics. Yes, invisible thread is available in light and dark.
