  • Baste the side edges together at the very edge.
  • Cut two 18" long pieces of bias tape.
  • Press the ends of the bias tape in on itself to enclose the raw end.
  • Starting at the bottom edge, where the bias tape end is pressed in, enclose a side edge of the fabric.
  • Start sewing at the bottom of the fabric and sew to the end of the bias tape.
  • Repeat for the second side
